The Spanish Society of Biotechnology was created
in 1989 to promote the development of every aspect of Biotechnology in Spain.
The main objectives of SEBIOT are the
following:
- To promote and organize scientific meetings.
- To favour the interaction of biotechnologists and other scientists
and technicians.
- Boost research and promote the knowledge transfer in Biotechnology.
- To channel the relationship among Public and Private Domains.
- To increase the exchange with other countries, with special
emphasis within the E.U. framework.
- Support to scientific publications.
